A trip to the art museum

Among other things, Steve enjoyed his first visit to an art museum this weekend, The Figge in Davenport. He really liked a painting by Jackson Pollock, and one from the Haitian room that had a lot of bright colors.







We all had a wonderful time with Nana, Papa, Uncle Jake, and Auntie Em. Good food, good drink, and lots of relaxing with family. It's too bad that we can't do that more often. We'll just have to cherish the moments we do have.

We are on the last stretch of road headed home. Again, Matt is driving but this time it was because Steve was awake every two hours last night and I am really tired. I guess Steve just really misses me in the middle of the night. Too bad he's such a noisy sleeper otherwise he could stay there with me and not miss me so much!
