We made it home late yesterday evening. It was quite a long day for all of us, but surprisingly Steve handled things very well.
I'll fill in more details of the vacation later, but here are a couple of highlights:
1. Steve really does love the water. We had a hard time keeping him away.
2. Brad and Maria were amazing hosts! They put up very well with a baby who screamed nightly interrupting everyone's sleep.
3. It helps a ton to have two extra sets of hands when flying. We could pass Steve back and forth when he became bored.
4. You never know who you might see in the airport. When we returned to Milwaukee, Matt's cousin Matt Cradick and his family were waiting to get on the plane. And right behind him was Prince Fielder, Brewers' first baseman, and Rickie Weeks, Brewers' second baseman. Yes, we got a picture together. It was awesome!
Matt is supposed to be updating the pictures tonight, then I will write more.
