Sadness

Joni sent me a text today as she was driving north through Waldorf. She swung by our old house, and this is what is there:



I told you all after my trip to MD in February that they had taken out every living thing. Don't let the picture fool you...That tree in the background is on the neighbor's property. And that big grayish spot in the front yard? That used to be a HUGE maple tree.

    I am heart broken! All those beautiful plants-what a shame. They must not have had a mom to trim. Mom K

    Shocker that some people in Southern Maryland cut down all the trees. They probably needed the extra space to park some cars on the hill.
